Hi – We are Julia and Richard Evans; we live with our two children James and Matthew, 3 cats and various other animals in Oxfordshire. Unusual for a husband and wife team, we are both professional photographers with many years of photography experience between us. As professional photographers we either work individually, together to create a super team or individually with assistants depending on your requirements. Between us, we normally photograph about 50 weddings a year.
Apart from photographing weddings in Oxfordshire we also cover Avon, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, London, Middlesex, Northamptonshire, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire and further afield. We love to travel, so International destinations are never too far!
Julia and Richard hold qualifications with the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP), Master Photographer’s Association (MPA) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Richard also runs our business and property photography company.
Our Style
If we could describe our style in three words it would be; Natural, Relaxed and Unobtrusive.
Coverage is for the whole day, from getting ready right through to and after the 1st dance or any other ending ceremony. There is no time limit. A short time will be spent with the family group photos, whilst we take lots of relaxed informal shots of the big day.
A mix of fun shots with the bridesmaids and ushers; imaginative, natural and relaxed shots with the bride and groom will create the perfect portfolio of pictures. Most importantly, we blend in with your wedding party and don’t take over. Natural and spontaneous images come from only being in the right place at the right moment.
The best complements we receive are from those who are amazed at the images captured when they hadn’t even realised we were there.
